On Monday evening, July 20th, we enter into the fifth month of the Hebrew calendar known as “AV.” AV is translated “to will or to desire; as well as “father.” The month of AV is linked to the tribe of Simeon, whose name means “to hear and obey.” If we put all those Hebrew clues together, this month has the significance of remembering to  “hear and obey the will/desire of the Father.”

Cyclically, the summer months are typically associated with the tribes who were great warriors. The scriptures share that our weapons of war are mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds.  We are called to use the “sword of the spirit” as we battle against the flesh and the principalities that oppose Christ, praying with all prayer and supplication.  This isn’t easy to do in the summer when the sun and fun are grabbing our attention.  Don’t get me wrong.  The summer is a time to enjoy the outdoors and family vacations.  But summer is also a time to “work” the word and to go into action as God instructs.

Spring is for sowing seeds, but summer is “working” the seed so it will produce a harvest.   Therefore, it takes hard work that wars against the flesh.  In the summer, it is easy to get distracted from spending time with the Lord.  We can easily get anesthetized with the pleasure and fun that pull us away from prayer that helps us through life’s challenges.

The summer months are tied to seeing, listening, and then obeying, which produces a unified troop armed for the Lord. Last month the focus was on sight. This month it is on hearing. If Satan can get our vision and our hearing impaired from what God has said, he has us hooked us into his web of deceit and lies that produce actions that veer us off course, resulting in consequences.

Last month, the significance of the story of the twelve spies who went out was that they SAW all the giants. 40 days later, they returned to the people of Israel who HEARD two reports (Numbers 13,14). Ten spies shared all the problems and obstacles they SAW. Two shared the promise God had given them. On the 9^th of AV, the people decided to take wrongful action and choose the negative report they HEARD and to not believe what God had shared about the Promised Land.

“So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, ‘If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness!” (Numbers 14:1,2).

In their unbelief, the children of Israel proceeded to make bad decisions that led to severe consequences because of what they chose to HEAR. First, they complained and cried. Then they had the idea to dethrone Moses as their leader, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.” Finally, when hearing Joshua speaking the truth about God’s promise, they came up with the idea of stoning Joshua. None of these actions were pleasing to God (Numbers 14:4-10).

If it was not for Moses and Aaron interceding for the children of Israel despite their plot to dethrone their leader, the children of Israel could have been wiped out because of God’s anger.

How Moses responded is what God is calling Christians to do as we see the destruction happening in our nation:  We must intercede and pray for God’s mercy!

God’s judgment didn’t stop coming to the Israelites when Moses and Aaron prayed. The Israelites were not able to go into the Promised Land, and all those spies who brought the wrong report died of a plague.  America is going through the judgment of our choices of eliminating God from our national foundation.  The Lord hears the prayers of the saints.  It may not look like He is answering, but He is.   It’s His heart to redeem America from destruction, and the shaking is a part of the process.

As a side note, it is interesting that America is paralleling a similar test that the Israelites faced when hearing the report from the twelve spies:  Are we hearing and responding to the voice of the enemy, joining the forces that are destroying and dividing as a consequence of being fear-driven?  Or are we hearing God’s promise for America and being moved by faith at this greatest hour of shaking?  Our mouth will decree life and death; fear or faith; hope or hopelessness.  Through the words that come out of our mouth, the report we are choosing to believe will become self-evident.

When God speaks, it is important we listen. Our disobedience and lack of faith can affect a whole community.  However, our obedience can also bring us (and others) into the “Promised Land” as we learn from Joshua and Caleb.  Their faith was tested and later at God’s appointed time, they were used mightily in God’s redemption story.

While AV was a month of judgment during the time of the story of the twelve spies, it is recorded in history that the 9^th of AV has continued to be a day of judgment. In 587 BC, the armies of Babylon destroyed Solomon’s temple. In 70 AD, the Romans destroyed the 2^ndtemple. In 135 AD, the Romans defeated the Jews. In 1095 AD, the 1^st crusade was launched, killing thousands of Jews. In 1290 AD, the Jews were expelled from England. In 1492 AD, the Jews were expelled from Spain. In 1942 AD, the Jews were deported from Warsaw ghetto to the death camps. In 2005, the Jews were removed from Gaza.

The 9^th of AV incidences are NO coincidence. Cyclically, the window of destruction has opened up during this month and judgment has been released. This cycle started when the children of Israel said after the spies report, “The enemy is too strong of us. We will die!”

One may ask why does this curse still exist today?  And it could be answered as simply as this:  When the Jews rejected Jesus, they remain under the debt of the law. According to laws written in Leviticus 17 and Deuteronomy 29, the Jews refusal to accept the New Covenant left them subject to the law which they breached. This cyclical destruction has only one remedy: the atoning blood of Christ.  The Bible says, “I will give You (Jesus) as a covenant to the people (Is. 42:6).  There is power in the blood of the Lamb!

Simeon, the tribe associated with this month, was one of two tribes that Jacob cursed in his final prophetic blessing to his sons. This was because Simeon and Levi decided to murder the men of Shechem for the rape of their sister Dinah. This vengeance was evil, and Jacob called them on it:

“Simeon and Levi are brothers; instruments of cruelty are in their dwelling place. Let not my soul enter their council; let not my honor be united to their assembly; for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self will they hamstrung an ox; cursed be their anger for it is fierce; and their wrath, for it, is cruel! I will divide them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel” (Gen. 49:5-7).

Simeon was made to be a warrior and one called a weapon of justice in the hand of God.  But when his own hand ruled Simeon, as he did so in Shechem, his passion and temper produce a work of destruction against God rather than for God.   This can be true for all of us. We can think we are going to help God out by executing justice out of “righteous anger.” But when we do that, our character is one that kills, steals, and destroys in the name of righteousness, and we appear to be sons of the enemy of God.

Av is a month that presents to us a choice to hear God’s word and have faith and believe in the promises of God. It is also a month to remind us to keep our passions under His command by taking the time to HEAR what God has to say about the matter. We are not under the curse any longer.

Today, we are seeing and hearing a lot going on in this world. But what is God saying? Can we see all that is going on through His eyes? I encourage all of you to take time to do some listening prayer this month. God has a lot to tell us IF we stop and listen. Our history proves this month to be a month that the children of Israel heard the wrong voice because of what they saw. So, guard your ears and declare His Word out loud so your ears hear what God is saying. And expect this month to ENTER into the Promises and celebrate His goodness as God had intended!

Tonight, June 21st begins the fourth month in the Hebrew calendar known as Tammuz, otherwise known as the “hidden month of great sin.”  Tammuz is known for this because of the repetitive failure of the children of Israel throughout Old Testament history to trust the Lord at His Word, which led to idolatry.  As much as this sounds like a negative, God always turns things around for His good, and it is His heart to reveal anything hidden that separates us from our relationship with Him.

It was during the month of Tammuz that the children of Israel became impatient waiting for Moses to come back with the written Tablets of Covenant (Ex. 32:1).  Believing Moses was delayed, the children of Israel lost faith in the Lord and Moses, and decided to create a god in the form of a golden calf.

Aaron unfortunately did not stop this suggestion, so when Moses returned with the Ten Commandments, the children of Israel had already set up their idol worship.  If it wasn’t for Moses interceding for the people, God would have “cut them off” of Covenant.

The focus of our spiritual and natural eyes is so important as they can lead us toward or away from the promises of God. The twelve spies went into the Promised Land during the month of Tammuz.   All the spies saw the same things, but Joshua and Caleb SAW the land through God’s promise.  While their eyes led them to an action plan to advance, the others could saw retreat and hopelessness  (Numbers 13, 14).

Joshua’s ability to believe God at His Word in the midst of opposition made him a great military leader later on.  In a pivotal battle that shifted the Israelites into a position to conqueror the land of Canaan, Joshua had to face five of the greatest Canaanite kings who had teamed up to war against the children of Israel.

In Chapter 10 of Joshua, we read the account of this battle that happened during the month of Tammuz, and how Joshua was outnumbered.  Joshua could have SEEN the situation in the natural and lost hope. But God said in verse 8, “Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you.” 

 Joshua had the courage, and watched the Lord send hailstones from heaven.  Then Joshua prayed to God to make the sun stand still so they could finish the battle. God intervened and helped Joshua gain victory over the enemy.  When the wartime was over, Joshua had defeated 31 kings! Through Joshua, we also see this month reflects a heart of courage and loyalty to the Lord, which brings a great reward!

WHAT IS AMAZING IS THAT THERE IS A RARE SOLAR ECLIPSE, DESCRIBED AS THE “RING OF FIRE” HAPPENING TONIGHT OVER ISRAEL:

“The first solar eclipse of 2020, a rare annular eclipse, will appear in the heavens over Israel on Sunday.  According to academicians, this type of eclipse described as a “ring of fire” was responsible for Joshua’s miraculous ‘stopping of the sun’ during battle exactly 3,227 years ago.” (www.breakingisraelnews.com)

The month of Tammuz is also linked to the tribe of Reuben, whose name means, “See, a son!”  Reuben was Jacob’s firstborn, and the one who would be the inheritor of the birthright of Israel.   Unfortunately, in a moment of “weakness,” he lusted after his father’s concubine and lost that blessing.

Reuben had great courage, but little moral strength at times.  It was through his shortcomings though that Reuben’s character grew because he chose humility time after time, and kept his heart from becoming bitter. This quality made Reuben special.  When focused on God’s righteousness, Reuben was one who loved well and had a beautiful heart of compassion.  This is why Jacob prophesied in Gen. 48:3-4:

“Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength.  The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.  Unstable as water, you shall not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed; then you defiled it-He went up to my couch.”

Reuben never held bitterness, even to his brother, Joseph, who inherited his firstborn inheritance.  Reuben even had compassion for Joseph to save his life when his other brothers wanted to put him to death (Genesis 37:21,22).  It was also Reuben who pledged his life and the life of his sons when Jacob was unwilling to let Benjamin go down into Egypt, so we see his tender conscience is a quality to be admired.

Every time Reuben disobeyed the will of God, there seemed to be severe consequences.  God does not let Reuben get away with his sin!  In Numbers 16, the men of Korah and the sons of Reuben went against Moses and rebelled against his leadership. Losing the firstborn status was huge for Reuben, but in this instance, the Lord caused the ground to split and swallow them up!  Reuben teaches us a lesson on how not to accomplish God’s plan our OWN WAY!  This is nothing but pride and rebellion, which is the same as witchcraft!  (1 Sam. 15:23)

What we learn from Reuben is pivotal in our walk with the Lord.  Our weaknesses will come up before us in a moment of testing just like the examples of the children of Israel and the golden calf, Joshua, and Reuben.  If we humble ourselves and wait on the Lord, we will find strength in His Word and walk under His command.  If we try to hide our weakness by doing something to cover it up, or taking things into our own hands, we find ourselves in sin and consequences.

Around the Tabernacle, Reuben led the brigade joined with Simeon and Gad on the southern side.  These three tribes were known as the warriors, although Reuben did not like to war at times.  This also got Reuben in trouble because God anointed his tribe for wartime.  Moses recognizes his weakness and calls it out:

“Shall your brethren go to war while you sit here?  Now why will you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the Lord has given them?” (Numbers 32:6,7)

Moses warns the Reubenites that if they don’t go to battle, they would be judged. “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23).  The Reubenites knew this to be true, and they followed their leader!  In this instance, humility guides their decision, and they go to battle.  God blesses them with great riches from the battle.

When the Reubenites were under the authority of a righteous king, they rose to be noble and full of dignity.  (1 Chron. 26: 31,32). But left to themselves, they strayed from wise choices that always resulted in major consequences.

Reuben had the heart to love the Lord.  When the Reubenites got back from fighting the giants and mighty armies in the land of Canaan under Joshua’s leadership, they brought sacrifices to the Lord.  But not long afterward, they turn around and made another bad decision.  In their moment of rejoicing, the Reubenites decide impulsively to build a great altar to the Lord (Joshua 22).  This went against God’s law, and the children of Israel rose up to fight against Reuben!  Reuben came up with a great excuse that it would be just a memorial, which it ended up only being because God did not authorize it as a place of worship.  Again, we see the unstable quality of Reuben that God wants to redeem.

Reuben, Simeon, and Gad held the high banner of man which was Reuben’s banner.  This is not a coincidence as these three tribes were tested and known for their human strength and weakness.  In God’s redemption plan, we can all be the Reuben’s that loved well and are mighty in the Lord’s strength!

The body of Christ has entered into a season of war.  But this war is one to hold onto His promises and not be moved by what we see. Our character is being tested!  We must be armed with God’s truth and have faith to trust that God has our victory in His hand.  We must take time to get a strategy and then fight with courage the good fight of faith!   “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23 

This month is a great month to “WORK the WORD,” no matter what you see!  That means to read, speak, and believe God’s Word until you KNOW in your heart what God says is the truth!  This is true “sonship,” which was the essence of Reuben’s name and the purpose of his destiny!  In God’s redemption plan, we can all take on the good qualities of Reuben and see great reward!

 

 

For the most part, America’s forefathers patterned this nation according to the laws given to the nation at Mt. Sinai.  

While the nation was establishing its Bible-based foundations in 1776 with the making of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Articles of Confederation, the enemy established headquarters in America as well through the Illuminati, Free Masonry, and Marxists organizations to name a few.

 Two trees were growing together in this nation, resembling the wheat and tares parable Jesus shared in Matt. 13:24-30.  These two trees were a result of two types of people who first landed in this nation:  The Pilgrims who landed in 1620 who wanted to establish a colony based on Christian ideals, and the Virginia colony of 1607 whose primary purpose was to gain wealth.

At America’s core, she was destined to represent a land of Jubilee that enjoyed freedom, liberty, and justice for all.  It is no coincidence that America has 50 states as 50 is the biblical number representing Jubilee: a time when debts were settled, slaves were free to return home to their family and land, and inheritance was returned to its rightful owners (Lev. 25). Jubilee was a part of God’s provision to relieve God’s people from debt oppression so that every person had the opportunity of grace to experience the fruitfulness of God’s promises.  America’s national anthem declares, “The Land of the free, and the Home of the brave.”

However, in the formation of our Constitution, a deviation from God’s foundational word happened.  This opened the door for the CRACK that allowed the enemy to form roots alongside the good of America’s divine purpose.  One of those deviations happened with a vote to disregard the laws of Jubilee that would set slaves free and debts canceled so that ALL could enjoy a fresh start of freedom.

Historians write that Thomas Jefferson, a slave owner, struggled to draft the Declaration of Independence.  Freedom was the heartbeat of our Forefathers establishing America and opposing England’s rulership that oppressed their religious freedom as well as burdened the people with “taxation without representation.”  Jefferson struggled with the concept of how to deal with the issue of slavery that had come to America as well if “ALL men were to be created equal.”

At the time, slavery had gone past God’s “lawful” guidelines established in God’s word that clearly outlined how to work off a debt owed in righting a wrong.  In biblical days,  one became a “slave” because they had committed a crime that required debt to be paid to one who had been wronged.  If they didn’t have the money to pay the debt, they were then required to work it off to settle the debt.

This law had NOTHING to do with race or ethnicity.  This had to do with settling debts for breaking the law.  God even included the Law of Jubilee so that all “slaves” weren’t indebted their whole life for a crime they committed.  The Laws of Jubilee (Lev. 25) set the debt-free so that ALL could experience the freedom to live.  This was a foreshadowing of Christ coming to settle the debt and allow His sacrifice to set people free of the debt of their sin.

Some of the original 13 colonies had slave owners that had become more interested in the free labor that was causing them to prosper in the new land than to honor God’s laws of payment of the debt owed.  Slaves had also come from Africa and Haiti that were sold for profit, not because they sinned and had to pay off a debt.  Greed voted that day, and the laws of Jubilee that Thomas Jefferson had included in the Declaration of Independence were denied and taken out.  The Georgia and South Carolina colonies would not agree on the Constitution until Jefferson omitted the verbiage that challenged their right to have slaves.  The vote led to the CRACK, and America has suffered racial division and strife as a result of that compromise to God’s law.

The Declaration of Independence says:

Perhaps that is why the Liberty Bell cracked in it’s making and still remains cracked for all to see as it has the Jubilee scripture of Lev. 25 inscribed on the bell.  The first Liberty Bell was made in 1751 that had the words on it:  “Proclaim Liberty Throughout ALL the Land Unto ALL the Inhabitants thereof.”  It broke at the first stroke of the clapper.

The New Bell hung in City Hall of Philadelphia and rang at every important event.  It tolled on the death of Chief Justice John Marshall in 1835 and cracked again, never to be heard again.  

 

The scripture on the Liberty Bell was Lev. 25:10:

“And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants.  It shall be a Jubilee for you, and each of you shall return to its possession, and each of you shall return to his family.”

We are now seeing all these tares of the CRACK coming up out of the ground and into plain view.  This division was fueled by compromising God’s Law, and the enemy took the compromise and stepped in to build his government and oppress God’s people which produced division, strife, hatred, racism, anger, destruction and murder.

The Law of Jubilee also included the laws of usury (Lev. 25:36,27).  God was clear that His people were NOT to apply USURY when lending money.  Therefore, the Law of Jubilee included all mortgaged land so that the land could rest from debt as well.

Unfortunately, usury was also adopted as an acceptable practice in American business, which negated the opportunity for personal and national “Jubilee.”  This is why our nation today has a national debt crisis and why there is such schism between the rich ruling over the poor.  In God’s blueprint, He made a way for ALL to prosper IF they obeyed His voice and commandments, and usury was forbidden.

Our banking national banking system has been built upon usury.  God is about to deal with that CRACK as well.

 

 

It seems as if all prophetic eyes are on the “plumb line” these days through prayer and what God is doing in the earth.  Recently, I have had a few people contact me to let me know God had put it in their heart to get a “plumb line.”

For the past 8 years, God has had me use a plumb line to drop it on strategic places (land) and prophetically pray His breakthrough into the earth. I saw His promises needed to be “set free” from iniquitous ties covenanted in the land that hinder God’s kingdom to come and manifest in the earth.  

The parable God gave me to understand what He was asking me to do was of the Parable of the Sower (Matt 13).  For example, our nation was founded with wheat (Founding Fathers who loved the Lord), and tares (Founders who opposed God’s appointed destiny of America of an appointed place to freely worship and multiply His seed of truth to the nations because they had a vision of a one-world order government = antichrist hidden in Free Masonry and the Illuminati to name a few).

The time had come that the tares that were allowed in our nation’s foundation had grown so deep and tall that they were choking out the wheat.  They had been hidden in politics, economics, and religious organizations that gained support and multiplied as the nation grew.  Now that the harvest is coming, the tares are visible and need to be rooted out and set apart from the wheat harvest.

Dropping the plumb line was not only for the land (nation) but also for God’s church who had partnered with the ideology of the tares and had agreed to come into her religious structures guise as “holy” or “Christian doctrine.”  

Some may be asking: What is a plumb line?  A plumb line is a measuring tool that is used to make sure a foundation is being built straight, without any deviations that would make it crooked or unbalanced.  It is the line that determines what is right and true and all foundations that use it can build knowing everything on top will be “upright.”

I saw up ahead a land and people “set free” from iniquitous entanglements and covenants.  I also saw the plumb line dropped to separate God’s people from iniquity and falsehoods that they had intertwined themselves through religious belief systems and structures in the church at large.  And through that release, I saw the rulership of God begin to rise and manifest in the earth.

“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face” (Psalm 89:14).

We as a body of believers cannot RULE for the Lord in the earth unless we are abiding in His foundation of righteousness and justice.  The Lord has been dealing with every place crooked in our mindsets, character, doctrine, families, businesses, and ministries.  He is setting His people apart for His service to reign with Him.  The body of Christ is learning more about His kingship and how to follow His blueprint in establishing His kingdom here on the earth.  But we cannot be mobilized to establish God’s rulership until we are free from false teachings, mindsets, covenants, and business that opposes CHRIST and HIS WAYS.  We must accept the shift and sift of the Holy Spirit.

In all honesty, when I first used the plumb line, I really didn’t have a clear understanding of why God wanted me to use it as a prophetic act when He called me to pray over specific rulership structures in the world.  I didn’t quite understand why it was significant to do these acts and touch the earth with a plumb line as logic couldn’t comprehend how it could make an impact.  But after seeing the powerful breakthrough with these simple acts of obedience, I kept going and believed God would reveal the fullness of His truth in time.  God was doing something in the EARTH!

What I did know was that it was tied to Jesus coming back to establish His righteousness in the earth.

I knew in the Millennium that Christ redeems the earth through His righteous rule.   God’s people have been “trapped” in many ways within the iniquity shed and the falsehoods that had grown in the earth that have multiplied and eradicating God’s truth, stripping authority from God’s people, and preventing His covenant promises from materializing:

“I was watching, and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, ‘until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom” (Dan. 7:21).

The prophetic words of Daniel will soon materialize in the earth, and this SHIFT is a part of that process, which includes the plumb line.  

Our eyes are opening to the decay of righteous leadership in America and the antichrist agenda that has been building its infrastructure underground.  We are now experiencing cities in chaos and destruction, who are being led by antichrist organizations trying to take over the cities.  All of the sudden, the walls have been broken down.  The plumb line has been dropped.  God will resurrect HIS authority out of these ashes.

Personally, I have the fear of God praying for God’s people to awaken to the purpose and process of the plumb line so they can shift and then receive His protection, provision, healing, and authority through this shift.  WE all play a part in God’s redemption plan to overturn evil.  BUT, we must first respond to the purpose of the plumb line.

God is just.  His plumb line goes out as a measuring stick that ALL can respond to so they can quickly turn from their wicked ways. This repentance produces life and liberty.  It restores and heals and allows the righteous authority to lead us back into the promises of God and His peace.

The Plumb line is God’s revelation of Himself as the standard.

God’s people are AWAKENING to a greater revelation of HIM.  The knowledge is helping us see where we have been caught in falsehoods.  We can then respond by removing ourselves from false foundations, and allow God’s grace to cleanse, cover and protect us.  THEN we have greater authority to wield HIS SWORD to fight in this war that we are in.  This is a sword not made by hands, but is the sword of the Spirit: the word of God.. the TRUTH!

The prophet Amos understood that God was using the plumb line to test the spirituality, morality, and genuineness of the people against the standard.  

“Thus He showed me:  Behold, the Lord stood on a wall made with a plumb line, with a plumb line in his hand.  And the Lord said to me, ‘Amos, what do you see?’  And I said, ‘A plumb line.’  Then the Lord said:  Behold, I am setting a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel; I will not pass by them any more” (Amos 7:7,8).

God cannot overlook our sin any longer.  He won’t “pass by.” He will now pass THROUGH His people and the land with His SWORD of TRUTH in judgment.

“The high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid to waste.  I will rise with the sword against the house of Jeroboam” (Amos 7:9).

IT IS GOD’S TIME TO DEAL WITH OUR IDOLATRY……the moral, spiritual and ethical decay that comes when a people walk contrary to God’s truth.  

The plumb line produces a test that poses the question, “Are the people really God’s people?”  God wants to see when the plumb line is dropped that His people, nation, is willing to come back and exhibit His characteristics and His way of enacting righteousness, justice, and truth in the earth.

The plumb line causes major shakings that rattle the norm and test what truly is inside a believer’s heart as well.  It can reveal the “hidden” sins.  For the nation, it can expose iniquitous structures deep within its foundation and uproot the hidden agendas and schemes of the enemy.  It leads us to choose life or death…..with God or without God.  A vessel for honor and light that speaks as God’s witness, or a vessel that voices the words of evil.

The plumb line is a combo of mercy (grace) and truth perfectly kissing:

“Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed (Psalm 85:10).

God is testing us against both.  If we omit or abuse one, we will not measure up to His standard.  We cannot be a people that keep preaching grace yet agrees with evil and forgets the measuring rod of His law of truth and obedience.

We need both to come into ONE headship under CHRIST’s authority.  God has told us He will begin with God’s people first:

“For the time has come for judgment to begin in the house of God” (1 Peter 4:17).

Christ came as the Redeemer first, and then comes back as King to administer His law of justice, the plummet line:

“For who has despised the day of small things?  For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel (the Coming Christ), they are the eyes of the Lord, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth” (Zech. 4:10).

The prophet Jeremiah shares in Lamentations 2:8-10 a “line” that the people crossed over in their decisions of unrighteousness and lawlessness and it resulted in God coming to the point of saying, “That’s it!”  God destroys the walls, the source of protection.  As a result, people suffer.

The “walls” destroyed expose people’s character and see where people truly stand.  Look at how America’s walls are being destroyed (walls of police protection, health, etc).  Is faith or fear arising?  Are you in the army of God or the army of the antichrist?  Where is the church at this hour?  Is she afraid?  Or is she bold as a lion and mobilizing under His authority? What is coming out of our mouths?  Death or life?  Are we agreeing with the enemy?  Are we responding like the enemy?  These are questions to find answers to from His truth and mercy at this hour.

I personally don’t want to have one foot caught in iniquitous structures and mindsets that trap me and hinder me from being used by God and in His authority.  I want to be set free to be used as the Great Commander in Chief instructs.  I want to see America free from the iniquitous structures that have bound her and crippled her from fulfilling her Kingdom destiny in the Lord.

God is dropping a plumb line to reveal the truth and crooked foundations.  We then have to have ears to hear and eyes to see so we can choose life.  We have to choose faith.  WE have to choose to walk according to His ways.  THEN the remnant will be seen on the earth, and her authority will be restored and the enemy will be subdued.  God is serious at this hour.

America will receive God’s mercy covering her mistakes when we stop partnering knowingly and unknowingly with deception and an anti-Christ spirit that seeks to kill, steal, and destroy God’s people and their anointing to rule in His divine authority.

The dropping of the plumb line is a  SIGN OF THE TIME, HIS TIME, OF THE SHIFT WHEN HEAVEN DECLARES TO THE UNRIGHTEOUS RULERS: “LET MY PEOPLE GO”!

We must know that all of God’s judgment is to bring us closer to Him.  It isn’t to punish but to chastise us from walking away from His truth.  God is in the business of redemption, and His goal is to get us to the FULL MEASURE OF CHRIST.  The process we are in is shifting us toward that promise.  So rejoice that God isn’t leaving us tied to the demonic strongholds.  He is loosing us free from them.  And it is coming by way of His truth and mercy being revealed:

“till we all come to the unity of faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, the MEASURE of the stature of the FULLNESS of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – CHRIST” (Eph. 4:13-15)

God is love, but God is also a judge who judges according to His standard:  the plummet of His law.  When the plumb line comes out, it means God is serious…..We want to measure up and there is a cry from His Spirit to choose HIS WAY.  

 

God is calling intercessors to arise in this hour to perfect His promise in the earth.

READ JEREMIAH 31-33….It will help you focus your prayers of intercession for God’s people and the nation who chose to honor the Lord as it’s King.

Here in a small city in the Northwest, there is a group of 7 Intercessors who have been praying all year for this nation.  Lately, we have been moved into action to go to the gates of our city and pray, standing while others are watching and witnessing and praying to our amazing Lord:

“This is the word to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.  Who are you, O great mountain?  Before Zerubbabel, you shall become PLAIN!  And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of ‘GRACE, GRACE to it!”

 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

“The hand of Zerubbabel having laid the foundation of this temple; his hands shall also finish it.  Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.  For who has despised the day of small things?  For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.  They are the eyes of the Lord, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.” (Zechariah 4:6-10).

TRUTH AND MERCY….these are what are in the hand of Zerubbabel when he drops the plumb line on the foundation of the temple.  WE are God’s temple.  The body of Christ needs His plumb line to align us in His truth and mercy and bring unity.  But we also need God’S plumb line dropped on the land so that truth and mercy will heal this land and bring unity within our divided nation.  We need our land healed with His truth and mercy.

It’s time to DROP the plumb line for His foundation to be made straight in the Lord!  Then decree His word of truth and mercy in the land.

The intercessors here in the Northwest have been asking the Lord to release His angelic armies to stand at the gates in these portals as we drop the plumb line.  We have been decreeing that God’s armies would become a wall to keep the enemy’s plans out of the cities.  We have been submitting the city back to the headship of Jesus our King.  We have been calling on the name of the Lord to reign in our city.

We are dropping the plumb line to ask God’s mercy and truth kiss the land.  We are dropping the plumb line to make every crooked covenant deed, every falsehood covering the land to come into the plumb line of His truth, righteousness, and justice.  We are dropping the plumb line to separate the wheat and the chaff so that the wheat (remnant) find refuge under God’s protective wings.

“Thus He showed me.  Behold, the Lord stood on a wall with a plumb line, with a plumb line in His hand.  And the Lord said to me, “Amos, what do you see?  And I said a plumb line.”  The Lord said:  Behold, I am setting a plumb line in the midst of My people Israel:  I will not pass by them anymore.  The high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid to waste.  I will rise with the sword against the house of Jeroboam.”  (Amos 6:7,8).

With releasing the deed back to the rightful owner, we are then standing in the gap for the LANDLORD, the KING, to intervene on behalf of our cities and nation who are aligned with falsehoods and are choosing death and destruction over life and liberty.  The Landlord is the author of TRUTH.  He is MERCY.  Release your truth and mercy into the land!

We are holding hands, kneeling, and praying in the unity of faith as we understand like Joshua in the Bible who fought all the kings who came together to fight against the Israelites that we cannot win this war with our own strength: WE NEED DIVINE INTERVENTION!  This war MUST be won by the King and His host of heavenly armies of angels, the heavenly bodies (sun, moon, star, sky all producing fire, rain, wind, hail, lightning, thunder to come and shift and squash the plans of the enemy (Joshua 10). We have seen a taste of the answers to our prayers as lightning hits DC and the Washington Monument.  We believe Psalm 2 is alive and working:  God is on the throne and will have the last say.

INTERCESSORS:  ARISE!  There is something powerful about going to the places that God instructs that are the “gates” to a city or place and to use the authority God has given us to petition for His angelic help to guard the gates. It is a witness of whom we trust.  It is a joining together in unity and seeking heaven to invade earth.

You cannot do this without clean hands IF you want heaven to respond.  Repent first for all that God puts in your heart as an intercessor. 

Then, see yourself as God’s holy agent to make a transaction with the land for His use in preparation for the Lord to reign.   Jeremiah was told, even in the midst of decreeing judgment was coming on Jerusalem to purchase land prior to the captivity of Jerusalem and the Babylonian rule.   This made no sense in the natural, but God would use that land to perfect His promise of inheritance and redemption.

“Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you, saying, ‘Buy my field which is in Anathoth, for your right of redemption is yours to buy it.”

 “For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:  ‘Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.” (Jer. 32:7, 15).

 God used Jeremiah to tell the people:

 “Set up signposts,

Make landmarkers;

Set your heart toward the highway,

The way in which you went. 

Turn back O virgin of Israel,

Turn back to these your cities.

How long will you gad about,

O, You backsliding daughter?

For the Lord has created a new thing in the earth-

A woman shall encompass a man.” (Jer. 31:21,22). 

 This is just the beginning of God’s plea and promise to His people… WE ARE THOSE PEOPLE HE IS SPEAKING TO!  Read and declare the promises of Jeremiah 31 over our nation, God’s people, and especially the remnant who are calling on His name!  THEN, DROP HIS PLUMB LINE!

We must pray “His kingdom come, His will be done, on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN.”  God has declared that it is His will for heaven to invade earth.  I am blowing the trumpet and asking all intercessors to come together with two or three or more to gather at appointed places in the cities.  Pray and allow the Holy Spirit lead you to establish heaven to invade earth in that gate.

There is an anointing to ARISE AND GO to these gates… Don’t just sit at home and pray.  YOUR FEET, anointed for the gospel of peace, need to go and take dominion for the KING!  Watch the Holy Spirit work and move the Host of Heaven through your prayers!

In 2016, when President Trump was elected, many in the body of Christ were sharing that they saw him as a type of Cyrus in the Bible who God used to help deliver God’s people from oppressive Babylon leadership.  Indeed, I did not disagree with their analogy because I knew that the “mystery of Babylon” that has taken root in America must be shaken and overturned, and God was raising up the one He chose to assist in this process.  However, when I prayed, I saw Trump as Samson.

I am sharing this with you today so you can follow the life of Samson and perhaps use this to focus your prayers at this hour for President Trump (Judges 13-16).  Samson was chosen to lead the Israelites during a time in history God was raising up judges to turn God’s people back toward Him, leaving their idolatry and ways of the world behind.  God allowed the adversary to rise up because the people had chosen to reject God’s leadership.

When Samson came on the scene, the greatest adversary was the Philistines.  God gave Samson the supernatural ability to defeat the enemy.  He had a strength that was unexplainable.  He had an unusual way of leading that wasn’t typical.  His own people wanted to give him up to the enemy because of Samson’s indiscretions that put God’s people in jeopardy.  But God gave Samson the increase to defeat all.  And his leadership did bring peace for God’s people for a short time.

THEN, Samson’s anointing was “CUT”  while he was sleeping.  He had opened the door for this event to take place because of his weakness with women, particularly Delilah.  And the enemy overtook him, imprisoned him, and gouged out his eyes.  

In the place where Samson had no strength and his hands were tied, God gave him a supernatural vision of the purpose HE had for raising up Samson as a leader.  Samson understood in that hour that it was God who gave him these natural abilities for a greater purpose to save His people.  And in that revelation, Samson chose to die a martyr and use His strength to take down the strongholds and government of the Philistines.  God strengthened Samson one more time, and out of that act of obedience, Samson took down the pillars (strongholds) of the enemy:

“Then Samson called to the Lord, saying, ‘O Lord God, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengence on the Philistines for my two eyes!'”

And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left.

Then Samson said, ‘Let me die with the Philistines!  And he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it.  So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life'” (Judges 16:28-30).

I share this with you because I saw back in 2016 that there would come a time in Trump’s presidency that his natural gifts, talents, and resources to lead would come to a halt.  Trump would find himself down on his knees praying and seeking God’s face because all of his own efforts failed.  In that hour, God would meet him face to face and give him the bigger picture to see of how He was using him to fulfill His covenant promises to a people who call on the name of the Lord.  And out of that encounter, God would give Trump the strategy and strength to bring down the stronghold that is destroying our nation who is a symbol of hope for the world because she has been founded on the promises of God.

Please join me in prayer for Trump at this hour.  He cannot rely on the cabinet or religious leaders for help in this historical time of crisis in America.  There are too many mixed signals and some are from the spirit of antichrist.  He must hear from God alone, and then have the strength and courage to execute leadership.

 

This is an urgent plea for all who are enlisted in God’s army to PLEASE, spend more time praying than watching what is going on.  This is a historic time for the soul of our nation.  We cannot sit on the sidelines.  This is OUR WATCH!  We all have a part to play for God’s use.  You may think your prayers may not be doing anything.  But when ALL of us pray, it makes an impact.  And we have to enlist heaven’s help in this hour.

Yesterday, a group of intercessors and I were praying together.  God brought us to Joshua 10.  In a time where it “feels” helpless, and we are praying and it seems the enemy has outnumbered God’s righteous, Joshua enlisted God’s help.  God used the heavenly bodies to assist Joshua in defeating all the evil kings who had gathered together to oppose Joshua.  The intervention was a supernatural one.  Joshua had no means with which to defeat the enemy with his resources.

America need a supernatural intervention as well.  And all of us have to be obedient to do our part.  Our daily routines have been disrupted.  We all need to pause and pursue God in this hour.  He will respond.

It may seem crazy to the logical mind, but we need ALL of our weapons of warfare for the pulling down of strongholds.  God can use His creation to help us.  

We must continue to trust and believe in this time of unrest.  We must keep our eyes fixed on Him.  We have a part to play through prayer.  Out of that, we have obedience to do as He leads.  THEN we can watch what is happening.  Not as a spectator.  But as one gathering intel to go back to the throne to join the thousands who are praying for God to arise.

We cannot forget God is greater than all evil in the world.  Don’t give Satan any power over you by joining in the spirit of fear.

 

On May 29th, I turned on the TV and sat on the couch shocked at what was happening in America with the riot in Minnesota and a few other cities in our nation.  My heart was grieved as I watched lawlessness abound, destruction and anger galvanize the masses who were rioting for a cause they had forgotten in the midst of burning on fire police cars and looting businesses without fear.  It was so obvious that these riots were set by a well planned with a funded agenda to bring chaos and destruction to America.

I have to be honest how shell shocked I was as I witnessed NO law enforcement to be found anywhere in Minnesota, and for a while, I could see what life looked like without the measuring stick of lawful order…righteousness, justice, and truth.  I thought, “ONLY THE MERCY OF GOD can pour out and save us in this hour.”  We are in need of divine intervention.  We don’t deserve God’s help because of the choices we have made to kick Him out of our foundations as a nation.  BUT thankfully, God looks down from heaven and hears the righteous, calling out to Him as Abraham did for Lot who prayed God’s mercy to pull Lot and his family out of the evil and judgment coming of Sodom and Gomorrah.  Abraham’s prayers availed much and the Lord dispatched angels to help, so with that example, I had faith to pray for armies of angels to come in this time of need.

Then I remembered our forefathers who dedicated this land of promise to King Jesus.  They had a divine revelation of the identity and purpose God had for this great nation to multiply His kingdom on the earth.  My heart shuttered to think of their sacrifice for all of American’s who enjoy the freedom to worship Him and live in this prosperous land, and what I was seeing on TV was blasphemous to their memory.

In that moment of taking this all in, the fear of God hit me. I have been praying for this nation for years, but now I was sitting on the couch watching this all transpire as a spectator.  I felt God command me to ARISE!  My spirit instantly knew this was not the time to be on the sidelines spectating.  I needed to partner with God to release His provision in the earth:  ANGELIC ARMIES!

So I got to work and began praying in the Holy Spirit, because I had no idea how to pray…I just needed to make myself available for the Holy Spirit to pray through me God’s plan in the earth.  

I remembered that the Lord had shown me long ago that the “Twin Cities” in Minnesota represented the twins of Jacob and Esau and that it would be a key to the soul of our nation as a war was going on between God’s Seed planted in this nation and the spirit of antichrist that wants to murder the Seed.  Our nation has had both seeds growing in the land since 1776, and its division is so clear to see now (it’s not a mystery because the truth is coming out), which is why we are at a tipping point of the war.

I felt the battle raging in the spirit realm and felt the marked moment was when the people started making their move to breakdown the wall of secret service at the White House.  It was so intense and at one point, it looked like the rioters were going to break through the wall which I could see would be devastating to our nation of the ripple effect it would have.  And then came the RAIN!  ….And then came the supernatural shift!  Miraculously, the inertia of rage and anger subsided.   And when it hit midnight, I felt a release and peace at the White House…… but the war was not over.

Another hour existed to pray until Minnesota hit midnight, and what was happening there was a free for all looting because there was NO ENFORCEMENT SEEN.  I prayed until the clock hit midnight in Minnesota, and immediately the atmosphere shifted in the spirit realm, and I understood that GOD’S ENFORCEMENT HAD BEEN DISPATCHED.

The next day, (5/30/20), it was announced that 40 cities across the nation would be rioting.  The pictures of what was transpiring looked grave, but when I went to pray, the Holy Spirit had shifted from war to worship.  In that place of worship, a PEACE that surpassed all understanding was experienced.  I felt blanketed with SHALOM, and my cells were expanding with peace in my soul and body.  This I understood was a gift of the national Pentecost we were about to experience.  The Prince of Peace filling our spirit, soul, and bodies in this era, and God doing something nationally that we could not do in striving, but could experience in His presence of peace.

Today, May 31st, as I awoke, I reflected on how in 2012, I had opened our home to a corporate Pentecost gathering.  I saw a “third” outpouring coming that God was going to do corporately (Nationally).  That night, we all waited for the Holy Spirit to come upon us like FIRE!  We all expected the explosive power of the Holy Spirit to hit us.  And although the Holy Spirit was with us and we got to experience His presence, it wasn’t what we expected.

The same is true today.  Many who now have eyes and ears to God’s appointed times that He declared would be The witness of His promises that come through the Feasts may be disappointed as they have an expectation of a huge outpouring of God’s glory manifested in a way they are familiar with.  But there is a massive expansion of God’s glory taking place within the cells of our spirit, soul and body so we can contain greater glory in these temples God has given. God is taking off the boundaries and opening up the gates in our cells.  And there is a peace that is inexplainable that is a product of this outpouring that comes within us, even in the midst of chaos and COVID-19 in the land.

And while God’s people are enjoying a greater expansion of His glory in their cells, God is releasing a third outpouring of His glory that is coming upon our nation in a way we aren’t expecting.  It is a fire that is consuming darkness and the seed (antichrist agenda) that has grown in our land that has tried to murder God’s Seed.  It is the “mystery” of Babylon that has infiltrated in our government, financial systems, and yes, even our churches that God is bringing into the light of His truth and exposing and destroying its power of oppression with His consuming fire.

Lies are being exposed to His truth.  Corruption can no longer hide.  Oppression of God’s people shall lose its grip.  The innocent who are being slaughtered will find that the death edict has been canceled.  The underground tunnels of trafficking will be consumed by God’s fire of judgment.

It this hour, the divine right to rule is transitioning back into rightful positions. Those who have been trained and ready for this season, who have been abiding in His truth and ways, God will raise up in this hour to take positions of authority and restore righteousness, justice, and truth in this land.  

And why is God doing this?  It is ONLY because He has established His promise for this nation that affects ALL the nations. His mercy seat declares His unconditional promise that He will perform His plan, regardless of our shortcomings.  He is covering us in this hour for the Lord Himself will perfect His plan for this nation, and the nations of the world.  And He is UNIFYING HIS PEOPLE who will be a witness that He is on the throne.

About a week ago, President Trump declared that all churches can gather because they are deemed “essential.”  This executive order trumped the governors who would not allow the gathering of God’s people.  President Trump made a way for those leaders who decided to stand up against this edict and open up their doors on Pentecost to do so legally because America’s Commander in Chief made the decree.

This morning, President Trump tweeted “The United States of America will be designating ANTIFA as a terrorist organization.”  The media is gasping.  The Antichrist organizations that have tried to destroy this nation are shaking.  It’s time to expose and root out this evil and for God’s people to triumph.

Our greatest weapon will be the power of the Holy Spirit, who will lead us in all truth, comfort us in times of trouble, release a great measure of peace in the midst of war, and empower us to triumph.  We are in a time of war, but God’s people will war in prayer FIRST.  Out of the war room, we will get their instructions of obedience of what must be done to exemplify righteousness, truth and justice in the earth.  REJOICE TODAY!

This is now the second FEAST of the year 2020 (20 is the number of redemption) that is marked in heaven and earth of the divinely appointed time God is moving His plan of redemption forward.  The Millenium reign is approaching.  Passover brought the nations of God’s people together for the first time in history.  Now, Pentecost is a sign of God marking our nation for His purpose in the earth.  And Tabernacles will be a great display of God’s unity of His people who are rejoicing with the King!

Come King Jesus we shall all be praying.  We shall be preparing His kingdom for His arrival.  For only King Jesus can rule the nations, and America shall be a witness to the nations that He is coming!

“I can hear the sound of a mighty rushing wind breaking through our atmosphere, and one thing is for certain:  hell can hear it too.  It’s why we are witnessing the forces of darkness react in such furious ways.  Make no mistake, the disgusting racial happenings of this week, the coronavirus, the unrest, the rioting….it is all rooted in fear.  The enemy can feel the ground shaking beneath him, he can feel his unseating, he can feel his strongholds of hate, racism, fear and disunity beginning to crumble at his feet….and he’s running SCARED.   The principalities of darkness are vying desperately to maintain their ground…and let me tell you….THEY WILL NOT STAND!

Why?  Because YOU, the sons and daughters – of every tribe, tongue and color, are rising into your God-given power and authority.  We must speak to the storm and release an overpowering force of JESUS into the atmosphere.  Walk out the front of your house and declare His name.  March or drive around your neighborhood and BOLDY DECLARE that the FEAR cannot stand here.  TAKE dominion over your home, your city, and you nation.  The righteous are bold as a lion….and there is no greater time to be BOLD as now, in the face of so much adversity.

Speak the Prince of Peace to the storm.  Speak the answer – a mighty rushing wind is coming from heaven – the second wave of Pentecost! (I say third if you count Mt. Sinai).  

Jesus, we release you into every corner and Nation of the earth, particularly over the United States of America right now.  The weapons we fight with are not natural, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds and we come into agreement with your word that every demonic force and principality MUST be silenced at your Name.  Let heaven invade earth!

Lift up your voices, mighty ones, that the King of Glory, may come through you.  Now is not a time to be silent….DECLARE the end from the beginning for I can hear the rushing wind of His Spirit on the horizon…”

God has a royal wedding He has been preparing and planning for His Bride, and its invitation went out as soon as the disciples were baptized with “the Promise” on the Day of Pentecost.  

In Part 1 of the Feast of Pentecost, I focused primarily on the similarities between the Old and New Pentecost Blueprint. Let’s now explore some of their differences.

The first difference is easy to identify.  In the Old Covenant, the execution of God’s Covenant, and the revealing of Himself by fire had an inherent problem that kept Him separated from His “Bride;” SIN.  Therefore, the people could see and hear God, but they could not get near God.

God needed a solution to cleanse and remove the sin that separated Himself from His bride. Without that solution, God’s consuming fire would destroy His bride instead of glorifying her.  This is why God instructed Moses to bring himself and Aaron up the mountain to Him only so that everyone else wouldn’t die.

“Then the Lord said to him (Moses), ‘Away!’ Get down and then come up, you and Aaron with you.  But do not let the priest and the people break through to come up to the Lord, lest He break out against them.”  (Ex. 19:24).

Notice in this scripture that the “Lord” is referencing the “Lord.”  Here we are introduced to the understanding of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  In addition, Moses symbolized Christ, and Aaron symbolized the “firstfruits” priests who would be glorified through Christ at His second coming and able to stand in the presence of God.

“For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to Our God; and we shall reign on the earth” (Rev. 5:9,10).

Secondly, because of the Israelites choice to reject God’s voice and go through a mediator instead, God was going to have to restore His voice through a mediator. After Moses read the “Tablets of Covenant” to the people, which was God’s marriage vows written by His finger, the Israelites responded to Him in fear:

“Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain of smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled (feared), and stood afar off.  Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, lest we die.  And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you so that you may not sin.  So THE PEOPLE STOOD AFAR OFF, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was” (Ex. 20:18-21).

We can now understand why the voice of God was still only heard through those selected by God in the Old Testament, even after this betrothal.  

If you notice from the scriptures above, Moses was the ONLY one who drew near to the Lord, while the others withdrew away from the Lord out of fear.  Moses walked into the darkness, knowing God was in it.  The people saw darkness and ran for cover.

Through their rejection of God’s voice, it was then established that a mediator was to remain between God and themselves.  Moses would then become a symbol and pattern of how Jesus would perfect this marriage covenant by becoming the mediator of the New Covenant and unite us with the original promise of His voice, His fire, His presence, and His desire to permanently dwell with His Covenant people.

These scriptures also then explain why the nation of Israel had to fight with their hands and not by the “sword of the Spirit, which is the word/voice of God” to gain dominion in the Promised Land (Eph. 6:17). As believers who have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, we now have access to take dominion by His Word over the enemy and not through the blood of our own hands.

Finally, we see the difference between the Old and New through God’s mercy and grace.  In the New Day of Pentecost, the Lord kept His promise to the people instead of the people trying to keep their promise to God and failing to be able to do it:  

“For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore.  For they could not endure what was commanded:  And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.'” and so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and the church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the New Covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, ‘Yet once more I shake; not only the earth but also heaven.’

Now this, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.  Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear.  For our God is a consuming fire.” (Heb. 12:18-29).

We are now coming into a greater understanding of the “national covenant of God.”  It is with an understanding of the purpose of the Feast’s blueprint, and a people abiding in His set times that we will be able to see the New Jerusalem taking shape on the earth.  This New Jerusalem was conceived on the Day of Pentecost when Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit of Promise to dwell in our bodies.  This national covenant began multiplying throughout the world through just 12 disciples.

Our role as His “living stones,” His royal priesthood, and His “holy nation,” who God called out of the dark, and drew into His marvelous light, is to abide in His ways and to be ready in our hearts for His return (1 Peter 2:9).

“Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, give unto the Lord glory and strength.  Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.  

The VOICE of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; the Lord is over many waters.  The VOICE of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty” (Psalm 29:1-4).

 

 

After departing Egypt and surviving the wilderness through supernatural acts of God (The parting of the Red Sea, manna from heaven, bitter water made drinkable, and the Lord defending the Israelites from attacks), the children of Israel finally arrived at Mount Sinai 50 days later.

“In the third month after the children of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on the same day, they came to the Wilderness of Sinai” (Ex. 19:1).  

The Israelites camped at the base of Mt. Sinai while Moses went up to speak to God.

God then told Moses to remind the people of all the amazing things God had done to “court” His people to reveal His love and His ability to take care of them as their “Groom.”  He also told Moses to ask the people (nation of Israelites) if they would marry Him:  

“Now, therefore, if you will indeed obey My VOICE, and keep My covenant, then you all be a special treasure to Me above all people, for the earth is Mine.  You shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a HOLY NATION.” (Ex. 19:5,6).

This was a special invitation as a nation of people to accept the Lord as their God, King, Husband, Priest, and Provider. Upon their “Yes” response, their commitment in turn would be to honor God’s voice and obey Him.  This union would open up heaven’s gates to prosper and bless a people, and a “promised” land where God would dwell with them.

The transaction of the prophetic word that had been given to Abraham declaring, “In you, all the nations of the earth shall be blessed” (Gal. 3:8) was about to consummate.

In short, this was God’s SET TIME that He was going to multiply His promise to Abraham, from an individual SEED promise to a “national” SEED promise.  This is so key to understanding the significance of the Feast of Pentecost in the New Testament because the perfected blueprint went from fulfillment of God’s Covenant plan through an individual Seed (Christ) to a national Seed (CHRISTIAN NATION).  Therefore, it was this SET TIME in the blueprint of God’s storyline that He conceived His corporate (national) promise.

In order to follow the trail of this courtship and why this is taking place at Mount Sinai, we need to go back to the “founder of our faith, Abraham” (Rom. 4:16). Abraham accepted by FAITH the things God spoke to him concerning establishing a covenant with him and his family.  Abraham did not have to do anything to meet this requirement of being chosen except to have faith in what God said:

“No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.  I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make NATIONS of you, and kings shall come from you.  And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant to be God to you and your descendants after you: (Gen. 17:5-7).

God originally made this promise in Gen. 12 with Abram.  Years later, God changed his name from Abram (exalted father of a family), to Abraham (Father of many nations) because the covenant was going to extend past his immediate family.  Abraham’s son Isaac would be the inheritor of this promise, as the Lord said, “In Isaac your SEED shall be called” (Heb. 11:18).

Isaac then begot Jacob, and Jacob had 12 sons who became known as the “Israelites.” The Israelites inherited that name because God also changed Jacob’s name to Israel, which translated means, “one who understands that God rules” (Gen. 28:34; 35:10).  

Years later, over 2 million Israelites were at the base of Mt. Sinai, and God was about to unite them all into ONE NATION, giving them a blueprint to be a community that functioned together as God would instruct; in one rhythm and heartbeat so that the world could see their Groom; the “God of Abraham.”

God had also prophesied to Abraham in Gen. 15 that 430 years after the people were afflicted in Egypt, He would deliver them.  This would then become the “sign” of when God would solidify His promise to Abraham to the national level.

“Then He said to Abram, “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs and will serve them and they will afflict them four hundred years” Gen. 15:13).

430 years later, the nation was gathered at Mt. Sinai, listening to God’s proposal, and accepting it “by faith” like their Father Abraham.  God then instructed Moses to tell the people to “consecrate themselves,” for, in 3 days, God would descend from Mt. Sinai so they could hear (see) His voice.

“Then it came to pass, on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings, and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the SOUND of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled” (Ex. 19:16).”

When the trumpet sounded loud, the Israelites ran to the foot of the mountain to meet God. The Jewish scholars believe that the people actually “saw the voice of God” coming out in tongues of fire at Mt. Sinai.

“The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire” (Psalm 29:7).

The mixed multitude that came out of Egypt saw the tongues of fire and heard God’s voice in their own language.  The translation of “seeing voices” came through as thunder and lightning:

“Now Mt. Sinai was completely in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire.  Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace and the whole mountain quaked greatly.  And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and because louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice.  Then the Lord came down upon Mt. Sinai, on the top of the mountain (Ex. 19:18-20).

Do you remember reading in the Book of Acts about the sound of the mighty rushing wind that came on the Day of Pentecost, in the upper room?  This was the SAME day in God’s Hebrew Covenant Calendar, years later from the day they were at the base of Mt. Sinai, that Christ would begin this covenantal national blueprint.

CHRIST had instructed His disciples, as Moses did, to get ready and prepare themselves, and then wait:

“And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, which He said, you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you all be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now….But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you all be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:4-8).

SUDDENLY, the Holy Spirit came upon the 12 disciples, at the same SET TIME that Mt. Sinai had been filled with fire in the Old Testament.  The people in Jerusalem, who had traveled from afar to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost, were awakened to what was going on in the upper room and came to see the voice.

“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.  Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts. 2:1-4). 

The Jews who had gathered in Jerusalem knew of a day when this would happen.  This is because God had established His Covenant Calendar Blueprint to gather at His SET TIME when the Promises made to Abraham would be perfected.  God used the Feasts schedule to prepare them, like a “dress rehearsal,” throughout the years between Mt. Sinai and the Day of Pentecost in the upper room:

“Count 50 days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord.  You shall bring from your dwellings two waves loaves of two-tenths of an ephah.  They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven.  They are the first fruits to the Lord” (Lev. 23:15-17).

 God also used Jeremiah to prophesy of this Pentecost fulfillment:

“Behold, the days are coming says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah- not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand and lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.  

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord:  I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (Jer. 31:31-33; Heb. 10:16).

But the blueprint of the Feast of Pentecost would show us, through the understanding of its firstfruits wheat offering, that this fulfillment of Pentecost would ONLY be the beginning (deposit of guarantee) of the perfecting of the national marriage covenant promise God had made at Mt. Sinai.  

If you study the Pentecost first fruits offering, it was the ONLY sacrifice that was offered and accepted with “leaven.” This offering symbolized believers in Christ today who are holy and acceptable through Christ’s sacrifice, but our sinful or “leavened” bodies have yet to been transformed.

“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself” (Phil. 3:20,21).

Therefore, we can REST knowing there is a day coming soon, during the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles, that we believers will experience the FULL manifestation of this covenant of marriage.  We will be able to stand in the presence of God in our glorified bodies, as well as stand before men as “sons of light.”
